Admission Day II: Govt schools sell 1,681 prospectuses

The second day of the admission process to government schools in the city,that had started earlier on Tuesday with the sale of the prospectuses at the six designated schools,noted a steep decrease in at all sale points. As compared to the more than ten thousand prospectuses sold on Tuesday,on Wednesday merely 1681 copies of the prospectus were reportedly sold.

At Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS),Sector 20,a total of 162 copies of the prospectus were sold. Whereas GMSSS,Modern Housing Complex,Manimajra,420 prospectus copies were sold.

The number stood at 228 at GMSSS,Sector 10,around 450 at GMSSS,Sector 37-D and 302 at GMSSS,Sector 46. The GMSSS,Sector 28,recorded a sale of 119 copies of the prospectus.
