Bollywood stylist Ashley Rebello may have dressed up a bevy of stars in the industry, and togged many a leading lady in designs from his workshops, but its his work on Salman Khans vfilmy wardrobe, including the desi-cowboy avatar on Bigg Boss 4 and his Dabbang look, that has put Rebello in the spotlight. If you loved Khans stitched-to-the-skin collection of fitted shirts which he flaunted in Dabangg, then you know who to credit. Its a look that was well thought of. Since hes got such a fit body,I suggested we highlight that through classic style of fitted shirts, explained the designer, who was in Chandigarh to dish out notes to fashion design hopefuls at the Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD).
The look seems to have scored well with both, the actor and his fans and Rebello is all set to take that forward with Khans next two releases – Ready where hes paired along side Asin and Bodyguard starring Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
As for Bodyguard, expect the actor in crisp safari suits. Given Khans well-known temper,we ask Rebello whether hes equally fussy when it comes to choosing his clothes. Hes very particular about his fits and we sit together to chalk out the look for a film, said Rebello, who is also working as a stylist forSanjay Dutt and Mallika Sherawat starrer Double Dhamaal. Hes also putting together an Indo-western outfit for Sherawats soon-to-be Cannes outing.
