4 booked for begging

Four persons were held on the basis of suspicion from a busy market in Phase 3B2 here and later booked for begging.

Four persons were held on the basis of suspicion from a busy market in Phase 3B2 here on Wednesday morning and later booked for begging. The police apprehended the suspects when they were begging in the market. They were identified as Yamla,Jaspal,Jaikara of Ahmedgarh in Sangrur and Mali of Ludhiana. They were booked under Section 3 of the Punjab Prevention of Begging Act,1971.
