A tree plantation drive was carried out by the State Bank of India,Chandigarh Circle under the banks Go Green Campaign. NK Chari,Chief General Manager,and Raj Bala Malik,mayor of Chandigarhs Municipal Corporation (MC) planted shrubs and saplings opposite the SBI LHO building. Other senior functionaries of the bank as well as Saurabh Joshi,Councillor of the MC,also participated in the event.

Speaking on the occasion,Chari said that the banks Chandigarh Circle branch had started the tree plantation campaign on Bank Day i.e. on July 1 and will continue it till the end of the month.
