A four-year-old boy was mauled by a pack of stray dogs in Halol in the Panchmahal district on Tuesday. The boy, on Wednesday, underwent surgery at a private hospital in Vadodara for treatment to the severe injuries sustained on his private parts in the canine attack. The incident occurred on Tuesday in Halol when a pack of about seven stray dogs attacked the boy who was playing outside his home in the Gujarat Housing Board colony. While he was rescued by onlookers, the canines had managed to inflict severe bite injuries on his limbs, hands, and his private parts. The boy was then rushed to the local hospital for primary treatment, after which he was brought to SSG Hospital in Vadodara. On Wednesday, the boy was shifted to a private hospital where he underwent surgery for the injuries.
