Tolls for Bengaluru’s Electronics City flyover go up by Rs 5 after 2 years

Cars, jeeps, and vans now have to pay Rs 5 more for both single and return journeys.

Bangalore Elevated Tollway Private Limited has revised tolls across vehicle categories for the Electronics City flyover and the Attibele toll plaza by Rs 5 effective from Tuesday. The tolls have been increased after two years.

Cars, jeeps, and vans now have to pay Rs 5 more for both single and return journeys, with monthly passes costing Rs 40 more. Two-wheelers will continue to pay Rs 25 for single journeys, but return trips will cost Rs 5 more and monthly passes will be dearer by Rs 20.

Light commercial vehicles and minibuses have seen a toll hike of Rs 5 for single journeys, while tolls for return trips remain unchanged. The toll for trucks and buses went up by Rs 5 for both single journeys and return trips.

The single-journey toll for cars, jeeps, and vans has risen from Rs 35 to Rs 40, while the return journey toll stays at Rs 55. The toll for light commercial vehicles and minibuses has increased from Rs 60 to Rs 65 for single trips and Rs 90 to Rs 95 for return trips.

The single-journey toll for trucks and buses remains Rs 125, but return fares have increased from Rs 185 to Rs 190.

The toll for the six-lane NICE Road, which connects various parts of Bengaluru from the outer junction, has also been increased. The plan was to make a toll road between Bengaluru and Mysuru, but it was dropped after the plan triggered controversy.
