City-based sculptor Sonal Ambani will showcase her installation 'Slings & Arrows of Outrageous Fortune', addressing the gender pay gap at the European Cultural Centre (ECC) at Venice from April 20. A stainless steel bull is at the centre of the piece signifying major world currencies, piercing it are several arrows marking the "efforts of those who challenge the status quo, who dare to speak against the systemic biases and who work tirelessly towards an equitable future", said a statement. The bull is seen charging towards a circular target, symbolising "gender equality". It will be on show till November 24.
