Rajkot minor ‘kidnapped,raped’

A minor construction labourer girl of Bhavnagar filed a complaint alleging kidnapping and rape by a man who was working with her late on Wednesday. In her complaint filed with B Division police station of Bhavnagar city,the girl stated that she was kidnapped by two peosons,Jayesh Vaniya and Bhavesh,on August 22 this year while she was on her way home after buying vegetables. Bhavesh confined her in a house for 10 days,made her unconscious by giving sedatives and raped her repeatedly,the girl alleged.

The minor also named five others,including a woman,as accused,saying they helped Vaniya.

“The prime accused is a mason and the girl works with him as a labourer. The other accused are family members and co-workers of Vaniya,” B Division police inspector R K Tareiya said.
