The RMC has won the award for its project of rejuvenating Atal Sarovar in area specific development component of Smart City initiative in Raiya.
The green field project area has roads and other infrastructure designed in such a way that every drop of run-off drains into three lakes, including Atal Sarovar, in the smart City area.
Also, every property in the Raiya smart city area will have double lines in plumbing, one for treated wastewater which will be used for flushing toilets, gardening, washing vehicles etc and other for freshwater, RMC said in a release.
