Patidar youths to shave heads on April 6 to push for quota

Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) Gujarat spokesperson Ketan Patel announced that Patidar youths of Palanpur will assemble at a fixed destination on April 6 as a part of the ongoing agitation.

Over 50 Patidar youths of Palanpur and Mehsana will get their heads tonsured on April 6, the foundation day of the BJP, to protest against the state government which, they say, have failed in fulfilling their demands.

Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) Gujarat spokesperson Ketan Patel announced that Patidar youths of Palanpur will assemble at a fixed destination on April 6 as a part of the ongoing agitation. The decision was taken at the meeting of PAAS convenors of Ahmedabad and Palanpur to make the agitation more effective in the coming days, added Ketan Patel.

The compromise formula between Gujarat PAAS convenor and Patel quota agitation leader Hardik Patel and Gujarat government, with BJP MP Vitthal Radadiya as mediator, has not yet yielded results.

Hardik had given 27 points to Radadiya and demanded that if the state government agrees on this points, the entire agitation will be stopped.

Radadiya had addressed mediapersons in Surat Tuesday, stating that the state government was working on the positive directions of the 27 points raised by Hardik Patel, but till now nothing has been done.
