Narendra Modi to visit Mumbai today as chief guest at CII function

This will be Modi's second trip outside state since his elevation as chief of of BJP election panel.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mumbai Thursday to attend a a function of Confederation of Indian Industry and a book launch.

An official release by the state government said Modi would be the chief guest at the function.

In another event,Modi will release a book called Beyond A Billion Ballots by Vinay Sahastra Buddhey of Rambhau Mahalge Prabhodhini organisation.

This will be his second trip outside state since he was elevated as chairperson of BJP election campaign committee. A couple of days ago,he had addressed a BJP rally in Patthankot of

Punjab.
