Gujarat Confidential: Modi at diamond baron wedding

On his visit to Amreli to inaugurate various projects on October 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attended the wedding of the son of Surat-based diamond businessman and owner of Hare Krishna Exports, Savji Dholakia, at Dudhala village in Lathi taluka.

In photos shared by the family, Modi is seen sharing a light moment with them. Dholakia’s only son Dravya got married to Jahnvi, who is the daughter of a real estate businessman Bharat Chaludiya.

The event was also attended by Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and spiritual leaders Ramesh Oza and Morari Bapu. Among the projects Modi inaugurated that day was the Bharat Mata Sarovar in Dudhala, a project helmed by Dholakia.
