MoUs worth Rs 1,200 cr signed in Junagadh district

The state government, which has been organising pre-Vibrant Gujarat events across districts, on Saturday said that memorandums of understanding (MoU) worth Rs 1,200 crore have been signed in Junagadh district in this connection.
The event was spearheaded by Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel. The government said in a statement said while the target for Junagadh is to touch exports worth Rs 5,000 crore in 2025, the district had clocked exports worth Rs 4,000 crore last year.
In similar pre-Vibrant Gujarat events – officially termed as ‘Vibrant Gujarat, Vibrant District’ – held in other districts on Friday, MoUs worth Rs 4,667 crore were signed in Bhavnagar, Kheda, Anand, Botad and Navsari.
In the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Vibrant Bhavnagar’ event, the government announced signing of 175 MoUs worth Rs 1,660 crore. Similarly in Anand, MoUs worth Rs 1,495 crore were signed. At Navsari, 145 MoUs worth Rs 212 crore have been signed so far. In Botad, MoUs worth Rs 306 crore were signed, while agreements worth Rs 1,504 crore were signed in Kheda.
Earlier this week, similar pre-Vibrant Gujarat events were held in Vadodara (MoUs worth Rs 5,359 crore signed), Kutch (Rs 3,390 crore), Morbi (Rs 2,800 crore) and Panchmahal (Rs 133 crore).
