Modi slams Centre on security

Chief Minister Narendra Modi has accused the Centre of being soft on security issues. He has alleged that the Centre was busy with negotiations while terrorists and Maoists were killing innocent people.

He was addressing a public function on Saturday night at Nani Narol village in Surat district,dedicating the expansion of the lignite power plant of the Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited.

He said that the Centre is jealous of Gujarat’s progress and is not bothered about the security of the common man. “Instead of opposing Gujarat on every issue,the Centre should first set its house in order,” the CM said.
