A Nadiad tuition teacher was arrested by the Ahmedabad cyber crime cell Monday for allegedly threatening to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a Facebook post.
Ahmedabad cyber crime brach Assistant Commissioner of Police JM Yadav stated in a video, “A Facebook post threatening to kill the Indian Prime Minister was uploaded by the accused named Shetal Loliana who is from Nadiad. He was arrested on Monday. The investigation was carried out by the technical team.”
According to an official release, a complaint was registered on March 25 branch when the surveillance team came across the Facebook post.
The police are yet to ascertain the reason behind the alleged post.
