Kutch student caught with mobile phone as GSHSEB class 10, 12 board exams commence
In Class 12 science stream, of 1.32 lakh registered students, 1.30 lakh took the Physics exam.

A Class 12 student was caught with a mobile phone in Kutch district on the first day of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) Class 10 and 12 exams Monday. One cheating case each was reported from Junagadh and Bhavnagar districts during Class 12 Science exam.
“The male student, a regular student of Class 12 general stream, was caught from a Mundra centre with a mobile phone while appearing for the Accountancy exam today. Filing of a police complaint is under process,” said Pareshbhai Ajani, HSC zonal officer. While a police complaint will be filed against him according to the GSHSEB rules, the student will, however, be allowed to appear for the remaining exams.
Nearly 7.36 lakh of the 7.53 lakh registered students took the Class 10 first language exam on the first day.
In Class 12 general Arts stream, of the 813 registered students, 806 sat for the exam while 2.06 lakh of the 2.08 lakh registered students appeared for the Accountancy exam from the commerce stream.
In Class 12 science stream, of 1.32 lakh registered students, 1.30 lakh took the Physics exam.
