In Vadnagar today, Shah to dedicate archaeological museum, PM’s school to public
Built at an estimated cost of Rs 298 crore and housing more than 5,000 artefacts, the four-storey museum covers over 2,500 years of human evolution.

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate several projects in PM’s hometown Vadnagar, including an Archaeological Experience Museum; Prerna Sankul, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi received his early education; and a modern sports complex, on Thursday.
“Union Minister Amit Shah is set to inaugurate three projects… Archaeological Experience Museum…Developed by the Union Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the state Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, the museum is designed to present Vadnagar’s rich and multi-layered cultural history,” a government release stated.
Built at an estimated cost of Rs 298 crore and housing more than 5,000 artefacts, the four-storey museum covers over 2,500 years of human evolution.
Besides, the Union minister will dedicate the ‘Prerna Sankul’ to the nation, a project built at a cost of Rs 72 crore. The initiative focuses on renovating the historic primary school in Vadnagar, where the PM received his early education.
Meanwhile, the sports complex, built at a cost of Rs 33.50 crore, includes a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities.
