The General Secretary of the Alliance Francaise Foundation in Paris,Jean-Claude Jacq visited the AF centre in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

Ahmedabad: The General Secretary of the Alliance Francaise (AF) Foundation in Paris,Jean-Claude Jacq (in picture),visited the AF centre in Ahmedabad on Saturday. This is the first time a secretary-general has visited the centre in its 29-year existence. Jacq met members of the centre’s executive committee,primarily about the construction of the AF d’Ahmedabad’s new premises near Shyamal Cross Roads.

CII office-bearers

Ahmedabad: The youth wing of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) in Ahmedabad – Young Indians – have a new set of office bearers,the organisation said. Pravit Parikh,Director of Business Solutions,Systems Dynamics (Software) Pvt Ltd,is the new chairperson,while Parag Gathani,chief executive of Harsh Gathani Enterprise Pvt Ltd is the new co chair.
