New bi-weekly superfast train between Dadar,Bikaner
As per the announcement made in the Railway Budget 2010-11,the Ministry of Railways has introduced a bi-weekly superfast train between Dadar and Bikaner from Saturday. Train no 2489 Bikaner-Dadar Superfast Express will leave from Bikaner every Tuesday and Saturday at 1.50 pm and reach Dadar at 12.15 pm the next day. Train no. 2490 Dadar-Bikaner Express will leave from Dadar every Wednesday and Sunday at 2.35 pm and reach Bikaner at 1.10 pm the next day. The train will halt at Borivali,Surat,Vadodara,Ahmedabad,Bhildi,Marwar,Bhinmal,Jalor,Samdari,Luni,Jodhpur and Nagaur stations in both the directions.

More cruise,chopper services for tourists in state
Encouraged by “Fly Ambaji in a Helicopter” scheme that was completed last week,the state government plans to offer more such services in future for tourists visiting Gujarat. The aim is to create more reliable and luxurious opportunities for tourists,said an official release,adding that state tourism secretary Vipul Mittra would coordinate these efforts. State Tourism Minister Jay Narayan Vyas said adding cruise and helicopter services for tourist destinations would put state tourism on global map.
