HC suspends Additional Sessions Judge

The Gujarat High Court has suspended an Additional Sessions Judge of the city Sessions and Civil Court following complaints of irregularities against him.

The Gujarat High Court has suspended an Additional Sessions Judge of the city Sessions and Civil Court following complaints of irregularities against him.

“We suspended Additional Sessions Judge R H Sharma yesterday,” said P P Bhatt,the High Court Registrar General.

He said the the step was taken following complaint of irregularities against the judge.

“We had received complaints of irregularities against the judge and hence the decision to suspend him with immediate effect was taken,” said Bhatt.

He said a departmental inquiry will be initiated against Sharma.
