Prominent Patidar community leader from Amreli district, has donated 61 bighas of land to Khodaldham Trust

BJP leader Bavku Undhad, a former state minister and prominent Patidar community leader from Amreli district, has donated 61 bighas of land to Khodaldham Trust. The land, located in Nani Kundal village of Amreli district’s Babra taluka, will be utilised for various social activities. Khodaldham Trust, led by Naresh Patel, announced the donation in a press statement, revealing that Undhad had declared his intention to donate the land during a meeting on August 2. The trust also felicitated Undhad for his gesture.

DGP’s Directives

Gujarat Police chief, DGP Vikas Sahay, on Monday directed all the inspectors serving in rural police stations to conduct a meeting between police officers and sarpanches of all the Gram Panchayats in their jurisdiction to “enhance cooperation in policing”. In a statement on X, DGP Sahay said, “To further strengthen rural policing, all police station in-charge officers have been instructed to hold a meeting with all sarpanches of their jurisdictions on August 10. Request to all sarpanches to positively contribute to this initiative of Gujarat Police.”
