The Gujarat BJP held a state-level meeting at its state headquarters — Shri Kamalam — in the presence of state president C R Paatil and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel as part of its preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. BJP’s national general secretary Arun Singh, state organising secretary Ratnakar, and state-level party office-bearers and presidents and in-charge of all the districts also attended the meeting. BJP state media convener Yagnesh Dave stated that in the coming days, meetings will be held in every district and municipal corporations for the preparations of the Lok Sabha elections. Between January 1 and January 15, election offices of all the 26 Lok Sabha constituencies will be opened in Gujarat, Dave added. Election offices will also be opened in all the Assembly constituencies of all Lok Sabha constituencies in February, an official release from the party quoted Dave as saying.
