GSPC cuts CNG price

GSPC on Saturday reduced the price of CNG meant for industrial use by one rupee in Gujarat. The new price for CNG — Rs 29.70 per standard cubic meter (SCM) — is expected to benefit 1,672 customers spread over 21 industrial clusters in the state. CNG is mainly used in industrial applications like heating,cooling,processes and manufacturing. The prices of piped CNG for domestic (Rs 18.18 per SCM),commercial (Rs 37 per SCM),non-commercial (Rs 20.80) and CNG-transport (Rs 50.20 per kg) remained unchanged.
