Groups clash over minor accident

Two groups of different communities allegedly clashed with each other following a minor road mishap in Vishram Nagar area of the city on Thursday.

The incident happened outside Kapadia School when two two-wheelers rammed into each other.

According to police,Sanjay Patel of Memnagar alleged that three persons riding on a motorcycle rammed into his scooter and damaged the vehicle. They reportedly got into an argument and both gathered support from their communities,sources said.

Soon,the quarrel turned into a scuffle between the community members. The police have lodged a case of accident and mob violence.
