GPCC welcomes SC order on MLAs/MPs disqualification

Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee(GPCC) spokesperson Manish Doshi has welcomed SC’s verdict Wednesday saying the MPs and MLAs stand disqualified from the date of conviction even if their appeals remain pending in the higher courts. Doshi said that the apex court’s order would go a long way in cleansing politics from people with criminal background.
