Further probe ordered against Jaydeep Patel,ex-CID chief

A magisterial court of Sanand has ordered Changodar police to conduct further investigation in a fraud case against former VHP general secretary and one of the accused in the 2002 Naroda Gam massacre case,Jaydeep Patel,former CID (Crime) chief V V Rabari and others. The court has passed an order in this regard while rejecting a summary report by police on a complaint lodged by one Pravin Patel with reference to a land deal worth crores. Police had submitted a summary report saying the complaint was false. However,the summary report was rejected by the court after hearing Pravin who elaborated the loopholes in police investigation. The court,on November 21,ordered police to carry out further investigation in the case.
