Five robbers stab man to death

Five unidentified miscreants looted a businessmans house during the wee hours of Thursday and killed him in front of his wife at his Valav house on the outskirts of the city.

Five unidentified miscreants looted a businessmans house during the wee hours of Thursday and killed him in front of his wife at his Valav house on the outskirts of the city. The Bharuch A division police said a case has been registered. Victims wife,Geeta Maitra,said the accused persons looted Rs 43,000 and stabbed her husband,Shailesh Maitra,five times when he tried to raise an alarm. The victim had a grocery store in the Bharuch town. Investigating officer Inspector K R Patel said the involvement of one of the highway gangs can be possible.

He added with increased patrolling on the highways,the gangs have started attacking houses.
