The announcement was made by BJP national general secretary Thawarchand Gahlot at the party office here after he completed the formal polling process.
This is his second consecutive three-year term for Faldu as the state BJP chief.
He filled his nomination form in the presence of national BJP vice-president Parshottam Rupala,who seconded his candidature.
Faldu is a Leuva Patel from Jamnagar in Saurashtra region,which returned MLAs to the Assembly in sizeable numbers in the polls held last year.
