Cabinet Minister Rushikesh Patel said Rs 3.52 crore worth of cash doles have been given in 1.25 lakh cases, while Rs 4.41 crore has been given as cattle assistance in 2,858 cases. An additional Rs 2.8 crore has been given to residents to rebuilt their kaccha and pucca houses that were damaged in the cyclonic.
The minister also said that the final report about the loss to agriculture has been submitted to the government after a survey. However, he declined to mention the estimated losses caused by the cyclone.
