19 injured in honeybee attack in Dangs, Gujarat
Two have been admitted to a private hospital in Valsad, while others were discharged after primary treatment at a PHC in Vaghai.

Around 19 people, including 10 women, from Surat were injured after being stung by honeybees near Gira Waterfall at Vaghai taluka in Dangs on Sunday.
Two have been admitted to a private hospital in Valsad, while others were discharged after primary treatment at a Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) in Vaghai.
The incident happened when a group of 25 people from Wadifalia in the walled city area of Surat visited Saputara on a day-long trip. On their return, they got down briefly at Gira Waterfall in Vaghai when the honeybees attacked the tourists.
The locals, who came to the rescue of the tourists, rushed them to the PHC. Two injured who suffered severe stings were taken to a private hospital in Valsad.
“Somebody may have touched the beehives, and this might have led the bees to attack in large numbers. The condition of the two injured in the hospital is stable,” said a forest official of the Dangs South region.
