City trader murder case: Three more arrested

The city police,which was investigating the city trader firing case ,arrested three “contract killers” and seized cash of Rs 45.53 lakh and the weapon used to kill the trader,on Friday. The amount seized by them was part of the contract money that was found in possession of the contract killers.

Police investigation also revealed that a girl from Surendranagar had helped the key accused in finding and hiring the contract killers from Junagadh. Police arrested Lalji Mer alias Lalo,who had received the contract of Rs 1.25 crore from key accused Dharmesh Shah to kill Chitan Shah,a city trader. His aides — Vijay Deva parmar and Raju alias Kanha Parmar — have also been arrested from Junagadh.

Dharmesh,a jeweller,wanted to kill Chitan to grab his property and also the former’s wife,Janki,with whom he was having an affair.
