Candidate turns up with fake application

A boy from Mehsana who turned up for the physical tests for police recruitment in Ahmedaabd was found to be carrying a fake application given to him by a friend. Vipul Dipak Rathod had missed the December 14 deadline for submitting online applications. Beginning this year,only those who apply online are called for the tests.

It turned out that he had asked his friend Ajitsinh Zala to fill the form on his behalf. Zala forgot to do the needful in time. When Rathod was leaving for Ahmedabad,Zala gave him a fake form. When Rathod complained to the recruitment board on Monday that he hadn’t received a call letter for physical tests,records were checked and it was found he had never applied. When he was pulled up for coming with fake documents,Rathore checked with his friend Zala who later confessed he had given him fake documents. The board has asked the Shahibuag police to take action against the applicant.
