Arvind Mills offers to take back sacked staff,stir likely to end

The three-week long strike by workers of the Arvind Mills is likely to end soon,as the management offered to take back the sacked employees on Friday.

The three-week long strike by workers of the Arvind Mills is likely to end soon,as the management offered to take back the sacked employees on Friday. During the negotiations with the representatives of the Textile Labour Association (TLA),the management of Arvind group agreed to take back the workers from Friday night,according to Arvind’s spokesperson.

The TLA brought 50 representatives from Arvind as well as the striking workers from Ankur mills,to meet the management of Arvind. These representatives requested the management to take back all the sacked workers.

According to a statement,the Arvind group will withdraw the termination of all these employees,but will hold an enquiry against the striking workers.
