Adani kin kidnapped

Dinesh Adani,a distant cousin of Gujarat’s leading industrialist family — the Adanis — was abducted by four men on Friday evening.

While there has been no ransom call,the Ahmedabad police are trying to trace him tracking his mobile phone. Dinesh (42),working as a clerk in one of the Adanis’ concerns,Adani Wilmar,was on his way to Derasar from his house at Nehrunagar when the four men came in a white car and reportedly forced him inside the vehicle. While they stopped at ISCKON circle to eat at a roadside eatery,leaving him in the car,Dinesh called his son Prashant to inform him of his abduction.

Police said the father also sent SMSes to his son hinting that he was being taken towards Bhavnagar.
