NSE defers ‘Go Live’ in T+0 settlement cycle

The NSE on Friday said it has deferred ‘Go Live’ trading in T+0 (same day) rolling settlement in the capital market segment for custodial participants.

“Trading in T+0 rolling settlement cycle in Capital Market segment Go LIVE deferred. Members are requested to note that the circular has been deferred until further notice. The revised date shall be communicated via a separate circular,” NSE said in a circular.

The same day, or T+0 rolling settlement cycle, in the equity segment on an optional basis was introduced from March 28. The beta version of the T+0 settlement cycle was launched for a set of 25 scrips, and with a limited set of brokers.
