Asian Paints Share Price, Asian Paints Share Price Today: Shares of Asian Paints Limited are in focus today (Friday, July 4) after the Competition Commission of India (CCI) passed an order directing the Director General to initiate an investigation against the Company.

Shares of Asian Paints fell less than 1 per cent and traded at Rs 2426.90 apiece, at around 12:19 pm. The stock opened at Rs 2430.90 today. Around 3.10 lakh shares changed hands at the same time.

Asian Paints CCI Allegations

In an exchange filing on July 3, the company stated that it is reviewing the order passed by fair trade regulator. The company added that it will cooperate with the CCI in the investigation over allegations of exclusionary practices.

“The Company is currently reviewing the Order and will take appropriate legal recourse. The Company remains committed to fully cooperating with the CCI during the course of the investigation,” the company said in a regulatory filing.
