Modi’s pet projects showcased at R-day

New Delhi: Tableaux with a giant machine lion and a replica of bullet train rolled down the majestic Rajpath during the Republic Day celebrations on Monday, putting on display pet projects of Prime Minister Narendra Modi such as the ‘Make in India’ scheme and ‘Jan Dhan Yojana’. Though ‘Swacch Bharat’ campaign, which is another area on which the Prime Minister has given much focus on, did not get a display through a tableau, school children later presented a dance on the importance of cleanliness.

The department of financial services focussed on the ‘Jan Dhan Yojana’ with a tableau displaying various facilities available for the people.
