Television star Hina Khan, recently diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, underwent surgery on July 16. The actress, known for her resilience, has been open about her journey, including the challenges of returning to work amidst chemotherapy. In a candid Instagram post, Hina addressed the online negativity surrounding her work resumption. “Being constantly in pain. Yes, constantly. Every single second. The person is smiling? Still in pain. The person doesn't mention it? Still in pain. The person says, 'I'm fine'. Still in pain (sic),” she wrote. Despite the physical toll, Hina shared a heartwarming note from hospital staff, praising her strength and wishing her a speedy recovery. Hina has returned to work after being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer for which she is currently undergoing treatment. A previous video showcased Hina's determination as she prepared for her first assignment post-chemotherapy. Her team skillfully concealed stitch marks with tape, highlighting the challenges faced behind the scenes. Encouraging a positive outlook, Hina advocated for normalising work during cancer treatment. "Walking the talk is challenging, especially when facing life’s biggest challenges. So, give yourself a break on bad days; it’s okay you deserve it. However, don’t forget to live your life on the good days, no matter how few they are. These days still hold importance. Accept the change, embrace the difference, and normalise it (sic)," she shared.
