Sonali Bendre: A Versatile Career in Film and Television Sonali Bendre, born January 1, 1975, is a prominent Indian actress known for her contributions to Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. Her debut in Aag (1994) garnered her the Filmfare Award for Best New Face, launching a successful career. Bendre quickly established herself, starring in commercially successful films like Diljale (1996), Major Saab (1998), Sarfarosh (1999), and Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999). Her supporting role in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000) earned her a Screen Award. Bendre's filmography also includes notable work in South Indian cinema, with films like Kadhalar Dhinam (Tamil) and Murari (Telugu), the latter earning her a Filmfare Best Actress (Telugu) nomination. Further Telugu successes followed with Indra, Khadgam, Manmadhudu, and Shankar Dada MBBS. Her foray into Marathi cinema included Anahat (2003).
