Shrikant Shinde biography

Shrikant Shinde is a political leader from Maharastra and a member of Shiv Sena. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on February 4, 1987, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and is the son of the incumbent Chief Minister of Maharastra, Eknath Shinde.

His political journey began with his election to the 16th Lok Sabha in 2014 from the Kalyan constituency, making him one of the youngest Members of Parliament at the age of 27.

His re-election in the 2019 Lok Sabha election further solidified his position as a key political figure in Maharashtra. Shinde's initiatives as an MP include proposing projects like the Kalyan Ring Road Project and the Waterway Transport Project to enhance infrastructure and connectivity in his constituency.

He found himself surrounded with controversy when a viral photograph showing him with gangster Hemant Dabhekar at the Chief Minister's official residence triggered a stir in state politics. This controversy raised questions about Shinde's associations and led to repercussions within the Yuva Sena.
