R.K. Singh Patel is an Indian politician known for his association with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). A bachelor from the University of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, Patel was an agriculturist by profession before joining politics.
He began his political career with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). Running as a candidate from the BSP, he contested from the Banda constituency in Uttar Pradesh in the 2014 elections, though he could not secure a win in this election.
In a significant political shift, R.K. Singh Patel joined the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of the 2019 general elections. Contesting again from the Banda constituency in Uttar Pradesh, this time under the BJP banner, Patel leveraged his local connections and the party's national narrative to mount a successful campaign.
