Maryam Nawaz Sharif

Maryam was born on October 28, 1973, in Lahore, Pakistan. She is the youngest of three children born to Nawaz Sharif and Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. Maryam received her early education at the Convent of Jesus and Mary in Lahore and later attended the Beaconhouse School System in Lahore.

She became a close advisor to her father, who was serving as Prime Minister for the second time. She played a key role in her father's re-election campaign in 2008 and was appointed Chairperson of the Punjab Tourism Development Corporation.

Sharif's political career took off in 2013 when she was elected President of the PML-N. She led the party to victory in the 2013 general elections.

In 2017, Sharif was disqualified from holding public office by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the Panama Papers scandal. The court ruled that Sharif had been involved in corruption and money laundering. However, Sharif has denied any wrongdoing and maintains that she is innocent.

Despite her disqualification, She remains a popular figure in Pakistani politics. She is seen as a strong and charismatic leader who is capable of taking on the country's challenges. She is also considered to be a potential future Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif is married to Muhammad Safdar Awan, a businessman and politician. The couple has three children.
