Hyderabad, Jan 14 (ANI): Bogi festival or Bhogi, the first day of the three-day Sankranti festival, is being celebrated in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana from the early hours on Thursday. People returned to their respective native places to celebrate the festival with families. The harvesting festival is celebrated with much pomp in the coastal districts in Andhra Pradesh. Telangana Rashtra Samithi party leader Kalvakuntla Kavitha participated in the Bhogi fire celebration in the early hours at KBR Park in the city. She said that Bhogi is a three day festival and is celebrated by holding a campfire which signifies shedding ills in oneself.
