It’s going to be an action-packed day for India at Rio 2016 Olympics as plenty of athletes will battle out on Day 7 in search of the first medal for the country. Women’s Skeet: Qualifications & Finals (17:30 hrs & 23:30 hrs): Kimberly Rhode is a five-time Olympian who has won a medal in a shotgun event in each edition since her debut in 1996 Atlanta – three golds. The American is expected to win a sixth medal at Rio 2016.
Women’s Football: Quarterfinal: Canada vs France (03:30 hrs): Canada finished on top in the Group of Death and are the only team in the competition to have won each match played so far. They take on the French in a repeat of the 2012 bronze medal match.

Men’s Boxing: Light flyweight (49 kg) semifinals (20:30 hrs): Cuban Joahnys Argilagos will fight Colombian Yuberjen Rivas, followed by Hasanboy Dusmatov and American Nico Hernandez’s bout to decide the first bronze medalists in boxing.
Men’s Field Hockey: Belgium vs New Zealand (02:30 hrs): Belgians look set to top Group B. They play the Kiwis in the final group game with the fate of both New Zealand and Great Britain hanging on this result.
Hot Pick: What everyone will watch
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce: The reigning 100 m Olympic champion since 2008 served as her country’s flag-bearer at Rio 2016. She’ll be looking to complete a hat-trick of golds. As always, her flamboyance on the track will be highlighted by the streaks in her hair. Women’s 100 m heats: 07:10 HRS
