INDIA VS BANGLADESH: Shakib Al Hasan is one of the most important batsman in Bangladesh's side. He showed that today during his knock of 22 runs from 15 balls in the middle order. He did enjoy a lifeline with R Ashwin dropping him as the off spinner ran forward and possibly misjudged it to let it leap out of his hands. Shakib added 13 runs after that including with two sixes. But Ashwin made amends with a beautiful delivery to drag the left hander forward and it took a slight edge to be taken by Suresh Raina at first slip. (Source: Reuters)

INDIA VS BANGLADESH: One-down batsman Sabbir Rahman worked well with Tamim Iqbal for the second wicket partnership. Sabbir wasn't as explosive as his partner throughout the innings but he did the job of keeping the scoreboard ticking as the target wasn't big enough. After putting in 26 from 15, Dhoni provided yet another example of his brilliance from behind the stumps. Jadeja sneaked in a faster one down the leg side and the batsman seemed to get imbalanced and the third umpire noticed the feet in the air. One second quicker or a second slower and it would have been not out! (Source: AP)

INDIA VS BANGLADESH: Opener Tamim Iqbal provided a perfect start to Bangladesh in their chase of a rather achievable 147 at a small ground in M Chimmaswamy, Bangalore. He started off by hitting Ashish Nehra to a boundary from the very first ball of the inning. He raced off to 35 runs from 32 balls while riding on reprieves provided by Jasprit Bumrah and Ashish Nehra. But with chances going begging and India's chances going in the other direction, Jadeja struck with the help of Dhoni behind the stumps. The batsman tried to go for a slog but Jadeja read it and Dhoni did the rest. (Source: PTI)

INDIA VS BANGLADESH: Needing to increase the tempo, Ravindra Jadeja goes across the line and he doesn't connect. And the wicket goes cartwheeling. Mustafizur Rahman goes full and straight while Jadeja doesn't connect. You feel bad for those costly stumps but that sight of wicket getting removed is one to enjoy. Jadeja might disagree though.(Source: Reuters)
INDIA VS BANGLADESH: Hardik Pandya started off by doing what he does best - hit a big shot. And it was how he had begun his inning with a six. But with his score reading 15 runs from 9 balls, he was looking to make that 19 and all but did so after hitting a shot flat and destined for a boundary but for Soumya Sarkar pulling off a blinder. Diving to his left, Sarkar takes a beautiful catch and clutches on to it with both hands. This comes right after Suresh Raina was caught a ball earlier and India are 112/5. (Source: Reuters)
INDIA VS BANGLADESH: Coming into the match, Suresh Raina needed to score runs. He needed to justify his place in the team over Ajinkya Rahane. But despite his 30 runs from 23 and the partnership with Virat Kohli, he would still leave a lingering doubt in people's mind. He changed his bat, fidgeted at the crease and now skies a short ball for Sabbir Rahman to take a good catch. India are 112/4 with Al-Amin Hossain picking up the wicket.(Source: Reuters)
INDIA VS BANGLADESH: After providing stability post losing Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma in quick succession, Virat Kohli scored a run a ball 24 before departing from the crease. Shuvagata Hom was hit for a six by Kohli a ball prior and now he tries to go for the same shot, in the same region, but the bowler has thrown it slightly quicker and the stumps are lit. Kohli looks back and notices he's been bowled and India are 95/3. (Source: AP)
INDIA VS BANGLADESH: After seeing his opening partner Rohit Sharma walk back at the end of the sixth over, Shikhar Dhawan followed back at the end of the seventh over. INDIA VS BANGLADESH: This pitch looked like it was meant for Rohit Sharma to come down and hit the Bangladesh bowlers all over the park. But after a massive six and looking like he was getting set for another big knock, Rohit departs. The ball doesn't have the pace he needed to go across the line and he ends up getting the toe end of the bat and it goes miles into the air. But Sabbir Rahman at mid-wicket adjudges it beautifully to make it 42/1 for India at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. (Source: Reuters)
INDIA VS BANGLADESH: Mashrafe Mortaza calls tails at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore and the coin gods have listened to him. He says the Tigers will bowl first. And as per the stats, team winning the toss has gone on to win the match - something for the superstitious to worry about. Tamim is back in the side for Bangladesh with Saqlaib Sajib sitting out. Mortaza hoping for the trend of this track helping the chase to continue when they come out to bat later on. (Source: Indian Cricket Team)
