Jacqueline, Kangana, Sonakshi: Fashion hits and misses of the week (August 7 – August 13)

Hit: There's no doubt that Kangana Ranaut looked pretty in this sheer Sabyasachi sari. But there are problems with her styling. A smaller choker would have looked better and she could have swapped the red lipstick with a soft pink one. Having said that, we think she still did good. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Sayani Gupta was seen in H&M at a recent event. The actor finished out the look with a box clutch from Sapphire, a Masaya cocktail ring, oxblood lip and matching pumps. We think she did pretty good. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Diana Penty was recently spotted in a Lovebirds shirt, blue Bodice draped pants and a Maithili Kabre choker necklace. Casual yet chic, the look is a hit. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: Parineeti Chopra took off for the US wearing a Madison dress with a Dior bucket bag and sneakers. Even though she looked vibrant with all those colourful tassels, we think it looked a tad bit weird. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: Nah! The gold fishnet pattern gown by Monisha Jaising and sleek straight middle parted hair didn't do the trick for us. Lara Dutta could have done better to pull off this Cleopatra-inspired look. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Hit: Athiya Shetty looked chilled out in separates from Kanelle at a recent event. She finished out the look with tan pumps and a blue mini shoulder bag.

Hit: Amy Jackson was seen in a Paolo Sebastian dress from the A/W 2016 collection at the trailer launch of Freaky Ali. We think the dress accentuated her curves at the right place without making it look too vulgar. She looked nice. (Source: Varinder Chawla)

Miss: For Akira promotions Sonakshi Sinha picked a white Intrinsic long blazer which she wore as a dress with knee-high Louboutin gladiator sandals. Not a big fan of this look. Maybe, over the knee gladiator sandals would have done the trick. (Source: Varinder Chawla)
