
JKBOSE Class 10 results 2016: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Education declared the Jammu division results on May 11 evening. Girls have outperform boys by registering pass percentage of 62.99 while boys are at 61.08 per cent. The top three positions have been bagged by 25 girls and 15 boys.

A total of 50,615 students appeared for the exam out of which 27,446 are boys and 23,169 are girls. About 61.95 per cent (19,041) students passed the class 10 examination.

Pratikha, Shewta Rana of student of Caramel Convent High School Kunjwani, Tanmay Mahajan of St Mary’s Convent Challan Ramkot, Rupambir Singh of Christ High School Poonch and Ankush Singh of Vijay Higher Secondary School Udhampur have jointly shared the first position with 494 marks (98.80 per cent) out of 500.

The second position has been shared by Rasmeet Kour, St Peter’s Higher Secondary School, Karan Bagh, Garima Badhan and Vidushi Gupta, Caramel Convent High School Kunjwani, Akanshi Gupta, Dreamland Public School Janipur, Mahin Sagotra, St Paul’s Convent High School, Manik Verma Shangrila High School Sarwal, Shivani Saini, Kestrel School Shibu Chak, Kritika Sharma, St Francis Higher Secondary School Akhnoor, Samiksha Sharma, RSJN Higher Secondary School Kathua, Ishneet Kour Ghai, Christ High School Poonch and Karmanya Gupta, National Academy High School Court Road with 493 marks (98.60 per cent).
