England have been wrapped up for 297 after fifties from Gary Ballance and Moeen Ali while bowler Sohail Khan finished with 5 for 96.

The end of England’s innings brings Day 1 to a close.  On Day 2 Pakistan batsman will be out in the middle chasing England’s 297. Sohail Khan marked his return to Test cricket after a five-year absence with five wickets for 96 runs. After the hosts were reduced to 184 for five at Tea. Though fine innings from Gary Ballance and some support from Moeen Ali took hosts to a decent score. Mohammad Amir and Rahat Ali ended with two wickets each while Yasir Shah provided the much needed wicket of Gary Ballance.
