Army surround militants holed up in North Kashmir

Army and Special Operations Group of Police launched an operation against militants holed up in North Kashmir’s Ladoora village.

The operation was launched after security forces received an input about the presence of militants in the village. Officials said that two or three militants are hiding inside houses and security forces have surrounded them.

The encounter started when militants opened fire on the Army and police. The encounter is still going on.

This is the second encounter in Rafiabad area of North Kashmir. Last week four militants were killed and one Pakistani militant captured alive when army launched an operation in the Qazinag dhara area in the same area.
