In a major goof-up, the hoarding outside Mohammed V University of Rabat, Morocco welcoming Vice President Hamid Ansari showed a British era map of India with Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh as a part of the country. Indian officials accompanying VP Ansari took notice of it and raised objection after which the 'expanded' map was covered with a white tape. [related-post] VP Ansari is on a five-day visit to Morocco and Tunisia and had gone to the University to deliver a speech on the topic 'accommodating diversity in a globalizing world - the Indian experience'.
